I love freedom! So much that I have the word free tattooed on my left wrist. My middle name, Frances, actually means "free one".
Being a lover of liberty used to mean dressing how I wanted and not being subject to someone else's rules. Once Jesus healed my heart and I tasted true freedom, all I wanted to do was bring it to the world around me. I was born to be a freedom fighter. The only problem...
I don't do bloody battles.
Highly sensitive, I was never interested in violence or war movies. Scriptures about warriors, armies, and battles held no appeal for most of my life. Like Alice, in Tim Burton's 2010 Alice in Wonderland, I was fairly insistent that slaying wasn't my thing. Yet…there was something…a craving beneath the surface.
Not a hunger for blood and gore, but to play a key role in an epic adventure. While I had no tolerance for the average battle scene, I have always been drawn to epic movies like The Lord of the Rings series. Graceful weapons, brave women warriors, and unexpected heroes ignited embers of the freedom fighter within.
I would learn that fighting in the spirit is less about effort and more about rest. His presence is my armor. My pen, my voice, and my trust are my weapons:
"Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle."

Feelers are healers and you are a born freedom fighter.
Once you know who you are, you make it known to the atmosphere. Bondage falls and promises are birthed.
